There are two 6 foot tall by 4 foot wide bookcases full, there is one 7 foot tall by 4 foot wide, then there are a couple more. I am on a self-imposed no book-buying period until June. I am trying to read some of these stacks. If you get a chance, I would like for you to make a little trip over here to TN and alphabetize my books for me.

Have a great day!
KimKimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16421412026035354003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35979627.post-84575844011462213382007-04-20T08:37:00.000+09:002007-04-20T08:37:00.000+09:00Well I am very much left in the dust with my mere ...Well I am very much left in the dust with my mere 289 books. I have only read about...35% of them maybe. Hehe but I am reading more of them since you moved and are not being a book pusher to my addiction anymore.Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10985328297794077723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35979627.post-69259731591299201142007-04-20T08:16:00.000+09:002007-04-20T08:16:00.000+09:00i'll lie. i have 936 books that sit on my shelf. ...i'll lie. i have 936 books that sit on my shelf. I don't...You are not alone in your book addiction! I don't have 700 books on our shelves, but I'll count 'em soon! :)
Like you, I want to own the book, not just rent it from the library. And, like you, there are certain authors that I have to read everything they write, over and over and over again. So, buying the book is completely necessary!
My dream house would have a library in it with ceiling to floor bookcases on 3 walls, one wall full of windows and big cozy chairs to curl up in and read.
Oh, I don't know if I even mentioned this, but you were right- Karen Kingsbury's books have changed my life! :)Coriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04868581121095899263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35979627.post-17753527587264001292007-04-19T23:03:00.000+09:002007-04-19T23:03:00.000+09:00totally addicted to books here! never thought to ...totally addicted to books here! never thought to count how many I have! used bookstores & book sales are about my favourite things!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35979627.post-67565537517508350782007-04-19T11:53:00.000+09:002007-04-19T11:53:00.000+09:00Count me in! I love to reread books and have read every book I own (well, except the ones I haven't gotten to yet!) at least twice. And I can't get rid of any of them. Dh forbids me to go to our company's annual book sale. Literally tens of thousands of books, all for 25 cents each. I could go completely nuts! So from one book lover to another, enjoy your own personal library! What if the apocalypse happened and you were trapped in your house for months? At least you'd have something to read. :pTraceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18253682375211668762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35979627.post-64914996788477454702007-04-19T04:54:00.000+09:002007-04-19T04:54:00.000+09:00I'm with you here. I still have probably 200 to 300 "adult" books. I have read probably about 50% of my books though. And yes, my husband does groan when I come home with a new book. Although he is also supportive...he let me go to Border's and spend $150 on whatever I wanted for Christmas. :Dmama2dibshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16552631031000201303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35979627.post-71094804667004896052007-04-19T03:28:00.000+09:002007-04-19T03:28:00.000+09:00I enjoy reading but prefer to borrow them from our...I enjoy reading but prefer to borrow them from our local library. The ones that I own I've been slowly swapping them at Paperback Swap, FrugalReader.com and Book Moochie.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07595549057172510815noreply@blogger.com
