Here are a few examples taken from my camera phone.
Many times there is a line to even get into the aisles. One interesting thing is that if you say "Eye-key-a" most times Japanese people do not know what we are talking about. However if you say "Ee-Kay-a" they will nod their head in understanding. People were grabbing everything, from dishes to rugs to plants to light bulbs.
Costco... ugh. This day I was wondering if the money I saved was even close to being worth working my way through these people. And forget free samples. The lines were so long it may have been Easter before it was my turn.
While I am way to cheap to ever pay for Coldstone Creamery, sometimes something "Western" just sounds good. This day the line was "short." One fun thing about Coldstone is that all the workers sing and smile as they make your ice cream. At least they make waiting in line enjoyable and entertaining.
