I am finally excited about Thursday night tv again. After Friends went off the air I was, well, lost on Thursdays. Sure Survivor helped, but it just wasn't the same. Well folks we are back in action on Thursday nights because Jack and Sawyer have switched nights and have returned for a whole new season.
Lost's season premiere was last week, and wow! I am excited about what this season holds. Just from one episode I have so many questions. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the writer strike does end soon so we can get all 16 episodes instead of only the 8 already done. I need to fill my Lost addict. Maybe if I am lucky they will soon be running Lost reruns in the middle of the night.
For those Lost fans, and well those who are not, here is a little teaser to get you pumped for tonight. After watching, how can you not be a Lost junkie too? (Thanks for sharing Amanda)
Can you tell who my favorite character is? Yummmmmm-y.

Are You Ready For Some ... TV!
The next few weeks marks the start of new fall programing. I am not as excited about the start of the new seasons and shows as when Friends was on, but I am still looking forward to all the up and coming programing.
I honestly didn't think I watched much television until I started going through each major channel's lineup pulling out what I want to watch. Thank goodness for DVR. It really has simplified what I watch. Now I can set the program and watch whenever I want.
So here is what is on my lineup.
Monday
8 pm Dancing with the Stars (ABC) - Starts Sept 24
9:30 pm Samantha Who (ABC) - Starts Oct. 3 New show
Tuesday
8 pm Beauty and the Geek (CW) - Starts Sept 18
10 pm SVU (NBC) - Starts Sept 25
10 pm Nip Tuck (FX) - Starts Oct 23
Wednesday
9 pm Gossip Girl (CW) - Starts Sept 19 New show
Thursday
8 pm Survivor - (CBS) - Starts Sept 20
9 pm Greys Anatomy (ABC) - Starts Sept 27
10 pm Big Shots (ABC) - Starts Sept 25 New Show
Friday
9 pm Women's Murder Club (ABC) Starts Oct 12 New Show
9 pm Friday Night Lights (NBC) Starts Oct 5
Coming Back Soon
One Tree Hill (CW)
Lost (ABC - January)
American Idol (Fox -January)
October Road (ABC-January)
24 (Fox - January)
Farmer Wants a Wife (CW- January) New Show
Army Wives (Lifetime)
So what are you looking forward to? Are there shows that I should add to my line up? You know with DVR, the sky's the limit.

Clay & Days
My name is Alexis and I like Clay Aiken. No, my name is Alexis and I love Clay Aiken. In fact, I have seen him in concert.
Imagine my delight to find out that Clay will be guest starring on Days of Our Lives!!! Clay will have a brief appearance meeting and performing for Steve (Patch) and Kayla. (who btw are one kick butt couple and I am so glad they are back on the show!)
The air date will be December 26, on NBC. So for all you Clay fans, make sure you watch it, DVR it, or be like me and catch it 3 different times on Soapnet.
And in the meantime, here is a little teaser to get you excited.

Secret Confession
I am a soap opera junkie. Now I don't fit the typical SAHM stereotype of sitting in my PJs all day, eat ting bon bons and watching the soaps. And I don't even use my DVR to sit and watch later, commercial free. Instead I have become addicted to Soapnet. Soaps 24/7.
See I tend to be a bit of an insomniac. I used to watch Nick at Nite, but there are only so many times one can watch Will Smith get into trouble on Fresh Prince. So I started flipping through the channels and found Days of Our Lives on at 11 pm. Now I have to admit I have always watched DOOL. I remember watching it with my mom when I was little. In college when it was so stupid that Marlena was possessed by the devil and Stephano was on his rampage. And throughout my years as a SAHM I have managed to stay on top of what was going on, mainly through Internet spoilers and catching a show here and there.
But now I find myself not only spending an hour with the people of Salem (DOOL), but an hour in Port Charles (General Hospital) and another in Pine Valley (All My Children). I tell myself it is better than watching infomercials, but I secretly find myself cheering along for Babe and JR to get back together, for Bo and Hope to finally be at peace, and for Carly to wise up and get over Sonny (which she appears to have –– finally). And don't forget the mafia wars on GH, the killer on the lose in Pine Valley and of course is Stephano still alive on DOOL?
Is my life so boring that I have to resort to televised smut? Shouldn't I spend those three hours improving my mind and watching the History Channel or the Discovery Channel or heck, even sleeping. Probably... but ya know that wouldn't be as fun.
