National Championship Reflections

With the big game approaching in THREE days I have been reflecting on our trip to the national Championship game in Jan 2003. With all the "chips" (no pun attended) on the line this weekend I thought I would share some of the pictures from our trip to Arizona for the big game. (Please keep in mind I was pregnant and had a bad hair cut that slightly resembled a lion)

Everywhere you looked was Buckeye fans. It was hard to believe that we were in Arizona and not Ohio.

Posing outside the stadium with our friend's John and Michelle.

Tradition for 2002 was for the guys to shotgun a beer before each game. Our friend Steve was shotgunning with our friends back in Ohio (see the cell phone attached to his head?)

Welcome Buckeyes!!!

Script Ohio. How cool is that??
Congrats Buckeyes!!

No clue who this guy was. People were so excited over the big win that they were kissing and hugging anyone nearby. Even Matt got caught up in the festivities.

Cool cactus on the drive to the airport.
