Spring Break Here We Come

We are going on a mini vacation for Spring Break this year. For the month of March, Matt and I will see each other for a maximum of 10 days, and maybe less in April, so we decided to go with the kids on a short vacation over Spring Break.

We talked about a bunch of options, but when a guy at Matt's work suggested we meet up with his family at Myrtle Beach, we jumped at the chance. It is only 3 hours from here, plus their kids are the same age as our kids, and the best part... we are staying in a brand new, 1100 square foot villa, for only $200!!! For those that know me, you know how cheap I am so this is like Christmas for me.

I'm sure the guys will golf half of the time and my plan is to sit on the beach and read, read, read. I am looking forward to some great family time and great 2007 Spring Break memories.

Hello,
Im a complete stranger but I came across your blog doing research on Myrtle Beach. The wife and kids and I are soooo looking forward to a two-week stint in good Old MB come June. Why do I love Myrtle Beach so? for the same reason any husband/father would. I go golfing, the wife tans on the beach, and the kids have more damn amusement parks and mini-golf courses than they can shake a stick at - so everyone's happy. Actually, I've only been there once before, but I'm batting 1000 so far. I only wish I had come across your blog earlier: that Villa you mentioned looks awesome! I already booked my two weeks at The Camelot By The Sea. Never been there but it doesn't look to bad... By The Way: What's the deal with Myrtle Beach nightlife, is Broadway by the Beach the only option?? Where are the darn Tiki bars and such??
