So I have been awake for 17.5 hours now. At 3 am my alarm went off and I rolled over thinking do I really want to do this? But then I thought about all the awesome deals and how much money I could save so out of bed and into the dark wee hours of the morning I went. Emily actually offered to go with me so I took her up on that offer, after all I did need someone to hold our place in line while waiting to pay.
I got some great deals. In fact I am 90 percent done with all my shopping. But the greatest buy of the day was the number one gift on Chris's list –– a Wii!! I can't lie. I didn't actually get it myself. My awesome, wonderful, daring friend Jamie did. Yesterday she managed to get her family one, so today she stood in line at an undisclosed, yet legal location and managed to get the 5th of 12 being offered. For those who may not know what a Wii is, it is similar to a xbox 360, but is more of a interactive game system. People line up for days to get one of these little guys. And here sits two. At least until I goto Illinois in one week and claim mine.
I can't wait until Christmas Day to see the look on Chris's face.

Zane got a Wii for his birthday--we LOVE it. Watch out for the boxing though, it is quite the work out. Seriously!
I am so excited for Chris. And you wink wink cooking mama here we come hahaha
The boys got a Wii for Christmas too! I'm glad to see the guitar hero game because Kristopher LOVES that game, he played it on another game system and when I heard about it for the Wii I told Stacey we absilutely HAVE to get it for him. Eli wants the Legos Star Wars games, we already have them for the Xbox but might as well get them for the Wii lol!

Girlfriend, you are lucky you have such a good friend to help you out. That and you ARE daring. I don't do crazy people in crowds. NEVER! I think I went shopping on Black Friday once...and even then it was during the afternoon. I am impressed with you.
So you're one of those crazy people shopping at 4 in the morning... I wondered who would do that ;-)
Glad you got some good deals. And I'm jealous of your Wii. We just got a big screen TV and I think a Wii is just what we need to accompany it, but believe it or not, I can't convince Hubbz! Maybe next year :-)
We got a Wii for the kids for Christmas. I can't wait to play it. ;)
So glad your early morning shopping experience was a good and productive one! I woke up around 4 that morning (not on purpose!) but was thinking, man, who in the world would actually get up now to go shopping?! ;)
The Wii sound soo cool! I'm sure you all will have lots of fun with it!
