Some of this and some of that

  1. I had to turn the heat on today and send Chris to school in jeans (he hates long pants). I am not ready for the cold weather yet.
  2. I haven't been able to talk to Matt yet since he left Sunday afternoon (he is in France and Sweden) but he did IM me to say he has an ear infection and a bad gas reaction from strong cheese. And yes that is the love of my life.
  3. I booked my ticket today for the first week in December to Illinois. I have to go for some training with Caterpillar and of course I am throwing a few extra days in to visit all my best amigas! Only 26 more days.
  4. I am so glad I remembered to DVR the CMAs tonight. I just love country music. Kellie Pickler's performance just tugged on my heart strings and I got chills when Sugarland sang. On a side note, why did no one tell me just how smoking hot Rodney Adkins is?
  5. I still am procrastinating the 1,200 word article. It's due by 8:30 am tomorrow. ((sigh))
  6. We booked our final airline tickets for our trip to Thailand in April. We will fly into Singapore (a 19 hour flight –– YIKES!) and then the next day fly into Phuket Thailand for 7 additional days before flying back to Singapore for 2 days. I can't wait to now start booking hotels and deciding activities and itineraries.
  7. My neighbor called today to tell me she was finished with all her Christmas shopping. I contemplated hanging up in her. I still have no clue what I am buying Matt. Maybe he'd like this $30,000 Audemars Piguet watch.
  8. I didn't realize the Eagles have been together for 35 years. Why does that make me feel old?
  9. I have been coloring my hair for years. I went Monday and had all the color taken out and went back to my natural color, minus the gray of course. I forgot just how dark my hair actually is.

OK, for the friend finished with Christmas Shopping, could you ask her if she is available for hire? I have NO desire to shop. I haven't even gotten furniture for the nursery for the new baby coming in 5 weeks from today. And I have to have christmas presents wrapped prior to the baby being born, due to the fact that I can't see me being able to bend a lot or sit on the floor much after my c/s! Not to mention, I will probalby be nursing non-stop for those first few days! LOL Fun fun fun.

You've been BUSY miss! :) Good luck on the article!!!

I don't really see what the rush is with Christmas shopping. I'm in no hurry and actually, I enjoy this time of year for that reason. The sales are so fun, I love being out with people, especially like B&N and Starbucks drinking our coffees and browsing stores . . . that just brings back so many memories for me (like with you!). I really like it. I'm in no rush. If I was, I could probably be done. So when you come home, I'm sure you still won't have anything done, so we can do some shopping together, k? :)

And the cheese gas. Matt is going to KILL you if he finds out you told us that. He will D-I-E or else kill YOU. Whichever comes first! :)

This was a cute post!

I'm not even sure where to start...with the gas or with the "lady-done-her-Christmas-shopping-that's-making-me-want-to-throw-up" or with the fact that you need to post a picture of you so we can see your hair, or with the fact that you're just so darn cute! Loved this post.

I'm sorry, but you lie. There is NOT any gray there. NO WAY! You aren't THAT old. If there is gray...I'm sure that it came from your gasseous husband.
