Ding Dong - Fed Ex Calling

I have been having a pretty crappy day so when the Fed Ex person came to the door I was curious, as I was not expecting any packages today. Imagine my surprise when I saw this box at the door.

I remember Matt telling me that some people at work were having items shipped to our house for us to bring to Japan in our sea shipment. But I was trying to figure how anything from Pro Flowers could be sent in our sea carton. I debated opening it, especially since the package was addressed to Matt. But as I tore into the box I saw this:

I then opened the flap to reveal this card:

Now first let me say that I feel pretty crappy as last night/this morning I kind of had an irrational argument with my husband. (Irrational on my part) And since they were sent via Fed Ex and Pro Flowers I know this wasn't a gift because of my irrational argument. So here he had done this nice thing and I was off yelling at him about things that he had no control over.

I can't remember Matt ever having flowers delivered to me in all of our almost 15 years of being together. Sure he has given me flowers or brought them home, but delivered? Never. Makes me miss him all that much more. Only 29 more days until he makes it home for Christmas.

Aren't they beautiful? Two dozen roses.

Those darn husbands. As soon as you go and do something stupid it's almost inevitibly at the moment they've done something wonderful. :) Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

They are beautiful.

Don't be too hard on yourself, you are under a lot of stress right now holding down the fort.. and getting ready to move the fort.

Enjoy the flowers.

Those of us who share in your pain also are blessed to share in your joy!
Pain-we have all made some stupid mistakes and said words in frustration and in fear of the unknown or time apart.

Blessed- b/c (I can only speak for myself) our husbands are the best kept blessing that God could give us other than salvation itself!

Enjoy the roses and smell them often!!! Kuddo's to that "Man in Japan."

Hope your days r busy ones till he comes home again!

They are beautiful, AJ. And I can tell they are very fresh, too. Like just picked and then sent! :) (I worked in a flower shop, so I know freshness when I see 'em!) Now you must tell me about the arguement. I'll be waiting for an email. ;)

Love definitely makes the heart grow fonder. I learned this when Neil went away to college and I was left behind....
