Love on the Big Screen

I am supposed to be finishing some copy for a client, but instead I am snuggled in my bed watching The Notebook on ABC Family. Not only is this book by Nicholas Sparks one of my favorite, but the movie staring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling has to go down as one of the most romantic movies of all time.

And the second most romantic movie in my opinion has to be Top Gun. Of course Tom Cruise in his early years playing beach volleyball all hot and sweaty then wearing leather as he breaks the sound barrier may also play a large role in this decision.

So what are your most romantic movies of all time? Does The Notebook or Top Gun make your list? Or are you a more of a Titanic, Sleepless in Seattle or Gone with the Wind type of romantic?

I love, love, love The Notebook! But I can't watch it without bawling crying. Such a phenominal movie.

I'm still a huge sucker for The American President and Pretty Woman.

I know it seems a little out there but I loved The End of the Spear, about Jim and Elisabeth Elliott. My husband and I watched it together and we both cried. It was a great movie about marriage.

I love romantic movies! So to list them would take more room than I have time today...

One I love because of all the 'oneliners' is: AS GOOD AS IT GETS.....when he says to Helen Hunt "you make me want to be a better man" WOW! That is better than "you had me from hello" anyday and twice on Sundays!
