Secret Addiction

A little less serious post...

I am addicted to trash reality tv. Yes you read that right. Reality tv. You know shows like Big Brother, Survivor, Rock of Love, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, America's Next Top Model and my current addiction –– Beauty and the Geek. (Hey with the writer strike I may really get lucky because Reality TV will be all that is on)

I have watched Geek for the past several seasons and I have to say this season is my favorite cast. I loved Jennylee and Nate last season but this year I love almost the whole cast. With two exceptions I am sad to see which team goes at the end of the night. I mean who can't sit back and just crack up and find humor in someone who honestly asks "Do they have clothes hangers in Mexico?" " Are you ready to LARP?" and "What are life insurance quotes?" Plus it doesn't hurt that there is a fellow Buckeye on the show.

So here I am. I have three assignments to work on, one being a 1,300 word article that is due by noon tomorrow, and instead I am eating Halloween candy, drinking a Diet Coke and watching Geek. And I am loving it. Everyone deserves a break right?

February Challenge - Declutter Your Life

I have been reading alot on simplifying and organizing lately. I actually am a pretty organized person, but there are areas that I feel I could do better or would like to take a different approach. So each month I am going to have a different "challenge" and I will send a prize to the winner at the end of every month.

So for February I am going to steal a challenge that a friend has done in our playgroup. I just did this before we moved and it was amazing what a difference it made.

Clean out those closets, drawers and unwanted clutter. Donate what you can to a local charity (don't forget to ask for a receipt) or someone you know could use it and simply throw out the rest. So get rid of it, clear it out and purge. (Mom this would be a GREAT challenge for you, and maybe in the process find those books I was wanting)

You can take pictures of the stuff you are purging or simply post me a list. Be creative. I will post reminders throughout the month and will reward a prize to the person who declutters the most.

So ready? Set? Declutter!!
