Holiday of Lights Parade

My kids were stars in the Gahanna Holiday of Lights Parade. Okay, so they weren't the grand marshals, or the Snow Princess or King, but hey they were in a parade where thousands of people got to see what adorable kids I have.

Matt's best friend, Matt (yeah imagine calling their place while they were roommates. Never knew who you would wind up talking to), put together a float with his inlaws for the parade. No reason, just something that would be fun for the kids. Needless to say I think the guys had just as much fun as the kids making the float and riding in the parade. In fact they even got the crowd to cheer O-H-I-O along with the float!

Here are just a few pics.

Waiting for the parade to start.
Em roasting a fake marshmallow over the fake fire.
Chris and Will waiting to get on the float.
Sam isn't too sure what is happening.
Sam has figured out what is going to happen and isn't very happy about it. Luckily she wound up doing okay and rode the whole parade.
Even Matt was excited about riding the float.
Our friend Kate who is due with her and Matt's 3rd in just a few weeks.
Our friend Jess and her and Steve's adorable 3 month old daughter, Gabby.

Those are great pictures!! I can't believe you got Matt to build a float. The only way David would do that is if there was a flood and he really needed something to float!! And even then, it would probably just have enough room for his computer. LOL

Was Sami afraid to go on the float? Poor baby girl. Glad everyone had fun - was great weather for it!!
