Deck the halls with boughs of holly...
Okay so we didn't "deck any halls", but we did decorate the tree. It was a bittersweet time, but Sam hugging Matt and I and telling us that it is the "best Christmas ever" helped bring a smile to our faces through the tears.
The kids asked for a star instead of the traditional angel we have every year.
