Nashville Star

Tonight was the Nashville Star 5th season finale. For those who have no clue what this is, think American Idol gone country. But honestly, even better. Not only can these people sing, but they have to be able to write their own music and most play some sort of instrument. Being the country music loving gal that I am, I secretly watch this show every Thursday and tonight another awesome season has come to an end.

The final three have been my favorites all season long. For the first time, a brother and sister (Zac and Angela Hacker) made it to the finals, and boy can they sing. And Zac's original written song (If It Wasn't For the Whiskey) was awesome. The other finalist, David St. Romain –– I can't wait until he puts out an album. His voice rocks.

So the winner? Angela Hacker, the 29 year old mom from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. And I couldn't be more happier.

So all you country fans, check out this season's Nashville Star contestants. I promise you will see some of the next big country stars. This season was amazing.

We were BIG David fans in this house. My hubby will volunteer to buy a country album when he puts one out. (That's huge!)
