Yesterday was the county-wide First in Fitness competition. The top athletes from each school compete against each other in things such as pull ups, the mile run, 100 meter dash, speed jump roping, long jump and the shuttle run. One person from each school is sent to the county competition in each category.
Emily went to the competition as the top pull up girl for 5th grade at her school. I am proud to say that Emily took 1st place with 17 pull ups. She could have done even more if her hands weren't sweating so bad in the 90+ degree heat. Other than a 5th grade boy who had 20 pull ups, she had the highest at the competition.

GREAT JOB EMILY! That is wonderful. I know you could of beat that boy...lol.
It's from all her gymnastics! Cool, Em!
How cool is that!?! I could NEVER even do ONE pull up!! I am impressed!
That's awesome! Good for her! When I was a kid the girls didn't have to do pull ups, just hang from the bar with our chin over the top. I weighed about 70 lbs. in 5th and 6th grade, so I could do that all day long. lol
Sadly, that was the peak of my athletic abilities! Good for you and your girls for being so involved, active, and GOOD!! at sports!
That's so exciting! Congratulations, Emily! :)
17? She can be 17 times over.
