Candle Making 101

I love candles. I love to smell them, buy them and burn them. And honestly, I am a candle snob. I love Yankee Candles. (Although our good friend works for Root Candle and their candles rock too)

While in Williamsburg this past weekend Matt shocked me and took us to the Yankee Candle store. I was good and the only purchase I made was a block of homemade fudge, but I spent an hour just smelling all the different candle scents. It was heaven.

Em and Chris had fun dipping their own candle, while Sam sat and watched the special "clock show".

If you are a fellow candle lover, this is a must see store. You cannot even begin to imagine the rows and rows of candles you can smell. Plus there are other cool items, such as toys, home decor and foods to look at too.

What fun!!!! I remember making candles at girl scout camp and it was one of my favorite memories. You do so many great things as a family that your kids will have so many fabulous memories to take with them forever. I hope I can be this way with my children like you are :)

And Chris....still so grown up. Wow.

Did you guys watch it snow? Maegan LOVES going to see the snow fall! Yup, Yankee Candle Factory is a great adventure! I still can't believe you were so close and didn't call me. I'm bummed. Did you go to Great Wolf Lodge? I know you went to the one in the Dells. SO, close, and I didn't get to see you.
