Alexis, first, let me comment on your new header! I love it!!!!
I have read 12 books so far for your reading challenge. My goal is 15 and I am pretty sure I will be able to reach that, especially since we will be at the beach for the last week of the challenge.
How was Nine Months in August?
Oh, and have you read Memory Keepers Daughter? That was one of the books I am considering....
Happy Reading!
Ok, I didn't officially sign on or anything, but I was inspired by your challenge and figured I could probably knock off a half dozen books this summer.
Ha! I am 3/4 of the way through Steinbeck's East of Eden, which, though really, really good is a really. big. book. I should finish it off this week, which will put my grand total of books read for the summer at...
wait for it...
are you ready?
2.
I'm pathetic. I really do love to read, I've just been so tired in the evenings that I keep falling asleep while reading.
I must say...I am quite pathetic as well! Let me see what I can accomplish starting tonight. I'll let you know.
Well, I have read almost 7 books out of my ten and posted about 5 of them. The books I'm reading right now are part of a series so I will post about them when I read the one's I have on hand. I THINK I should be able to finish all ten, but time has been creeping up on me. :)
My list . . . zilch! aren't you proud??
I've read 11 & have 9 to go. I will have to get a move on. I have discovered I read more in the winter then I do in the summer. I read a lot of mags in the summer, easier to bring outside at watch the kids in the pool I guess.
