Our roof is covered with snow right now. Maybe she was celebrating the lack of snow or the short rays of the almost-winter sun. I'd have taken the pics, too, my husband would have got her off of the roof immediately. He's not a camera person, I guess.
Growing up I would have given anything to have a spot like that! I always wanted to climb on our roof.
Well, I did, my dad did the CB radio thing and we had this freaking huge tower, like a HAMM radio tower, and I used to climb that and get on the roof. Put my mom in hysterics. I wasn't allowed to stay there though. :(
Is that a real laptop? I didn't know they came in pink. LOL Oh, this surprises me not at all. I heard footsteps one morning, and then a body hurtled itself from the top of the roof--right outside my sliding glass door. It was my teenaged DS, who was up on the roof, taking a picture of the gorgeous fall sunrise. Then he put a verse on it and gave it to me for a new desktop. I forgave him for scaring me.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

I took a peek outside the bedroom window to watch DH hang Christmas lights and look who I found. What was that girl thinking?

It looks like a scene from a Disney movie.
She found her special place. Happy WW;)!
I love her thinking place. So did you get on the roof to capture these fun shots?

Sometimes we have to be creative to spend time alone.
