Flights that is. This morning we said goodbye to Thailand and flew to Singapore, where we spent 6 hours walking all over the city (don't worry I took lots of pictures). Now we wait and fly out tomorrow morning to Hong Kong, where we will have a 3 hour layover before proceeding to Chicago (another 90 minute layover there) and then finally to North Carolina.
Right now Matt is snoozing in the "Premier Lounge" in the Singapore Airport while I listen to some little kid and family make lots of unnecessary noise ( I mean seriously people it is 1 am. Control your flipping kid). I would be snacking on the free "salad bar" but somehow seafood flavored noodles or seaweed and mushroom soup doesn't really sound all that appetizing. Rather I will just munch on some peanuts and drink hot tea. Maybe I will pop in the yoga dvd sitting at the media center and watch and learn through osmosis.
I can't believe it is time to go home already. I seems like it was just yesterday that I was sitting in this same airport like a kid on the first day of school, excited yet nervous about what lied ahead. I miss my kids immensely and I am sure my mom is ready for us to come back. But I have to admit, I would love just a few more days to spend in this amazing area of the world.
