Send out the celebration party invitations the next American Idol winner has been chosen. This has to be one of my favorite seasons. The overall talent was better than any other season. And to end a great season, the best man won. I guess my 19 votes in 4 hours counted for something.

this season was definitely my fave, tieing with Clay/Ruben. It was so powerfully sung from beginning to end, especially towards the end, the late AI's were just not so great towards the end. The competition just wasn't there. Simon had said if this season flopped, he wasn't going to do it anymore. I think this season is keeping him and AI going now!
Yay David C, and great job David A, because both are just remarkable musicians.
