I chaperoned Em's school field trip to an Oceans studies place in Beaufort, NC. Ignore her bad hair. We were on a boat, then walked 2 miles in over 100 degree heat. She is such a science buff she loved digging in the water and finding sea creatures. Look at this urchin!

How fun and scientific to visit the ocean! She is brave to hold the urchin in her hand. :)

Man...I really want to go to the beach! Great pics! Your daughter looks just like you. :)

Thanks for dropping by my blog. You're welcome to stop by anytime. It's great to connect with writer moms. I'm in the process of figuring out how to squeeze in time for writing between diaper changes, loads of laundry, and keeping my son off of the kitchen counters! So blogs like yours give me inspiration! Thanks!

Wow.. It's amazing that she was not afraid and was able to hold it. Look like they had a great time there!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love to read about your trip to Thailand. Make me homesick a little bit but it's always nice to read about other visitors' view of my lovely country. :)

What a fun and carefree day you must have had! Get me away from this desk and out into the open air! Although I do have an impressive view of the San Gabriel mountains...I'm still INSIDE! OK you inspired me!

Oh wow.... I don't think I would have had the courage to pick it up!
Wish we were close enough to the beach for field trips... :)
