Today Matt and I spend the day at Himeji Castle for an Italian lunch and some cherry blossom viewing. If there ever is a good time to come and visit Japan it is during Cherry Blossom season.
It took about 2 hours to walk the castle grounds.
We climbed up 6 floors of the castle to see this great view of the city and surrounding mountains.
It was a perfect day.

very nice! boy you have already made so many memories and you've been there what, three months? Good for you guys!
Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing them.
Beautiful indeed and gave me a longing for Japan!
Gorgeous, the surrounds and you both as a couple. Great shots.
Gosh, those cherry trees are just beautiful!
Love the dress on picture 6.

you guys look so cute! :)
I love these pictures! Did you take lessons from a pro? ;) Ha ha! I keep swaying between wanting to spend the money on a nice camera and knowing I don't really need one.
