Softening the Blow

Saturday Matt bought me these.

I have always wanted white rocking chairs on my front porch. I used to bug Jamie every time we went to Cracker Barrel asking how much of a discount could her husband get me on their rocking chairs since he is a manager there. But now Matt bought me two of my own!

How nice? Right? I think maybe he was softening the blow with news he had to share with me tonight. No, we are not moving again, at least not yet. No, not another business trip. He has lost my ipod. One of my favorite things in thew whole world, and he has lost it. He thinks he may have left it in the pocket of one of his flights, but he isn't totally sure. The airline and hotels have no record of finding it. We have scoured the vehicles and house, but as of now, no ipod.

So for now I can use Emily's. But now at least I don't have to come up with a good excuse of why I need to buy the video ipod with a much larger holding space than my 4G.

Woohoo, Matt, wtg!! (jk!)

Well, at least that's all it was. And now you have two new chairs that you can look like two silly old people in :)

Are you sure you aren't hiding your IPOD? LOL

Oh good heavens, Alexis, you had me worried. I was gazing at your lovely new chairs, admiring your front porch and house and thinking, "Oh no, is she going to have to move?"

Well, I'm sorry Matt lost your iPod, but I'm also happy that the news wasn't worse. ;)

Your husband Matt sounds exactly like my husband Matt. My Matt loses everything! Your husband's middle name isn't Duane is it? haha.
