I am finally excited about Thursday night tv again. After Friends went off the air I was, well, lost on Thursdays. Sure Survivor helped, but it just wasn't the same. Well folks we are back in action on Thursday nights because Jack and Sawyer have switched nights and have returned for a whole new season.
Lost's season premiere was last week, and wow! I am excited about what this season holds. Just from one episode I have so many questions. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the writer strike does end soon so we can get all 16 episodes instead of only the 8 already done. I need to fill my Lost addict. Maybe if I am lucky they will soon be running Lost reruns in the middle of the night.
For those Lost fans, and well those who are not, here is a little teaser to get you pumped for tonight. After watching, how can you not be a Lost junkie too? (Thanks for sharing Amanda)
Can you tell who my favorite character is? Yummmmmm-y.

Anyone else "Lost"?
Matt and I signed up for Netflix last fall. During our honeymoon rental "marathon" we decided to start watching the series "Lost". We were sucked in right away. (How could we not be?) Matt thinks it is funny considering I hate the unknown and have the patience of a rock, and this show has both.
- Who exactly is Jacob? Or should I say what is Jacob?
- Who are the "Others" and what is their role on the Island? Still after all these weeks I am confused as ever.
- The writers say the characters are not in purgatory somewhere, and indeed are alive. So why have they been declared dead and who caused all this? Was it some EMI Shielding freak of nature?
- Will Claire and Jack ever figure out they are brother and sister?
- Are those who died on the island since the crash really dead?
- Will Charlie die in the finale?
- Where are Walt and Michael?
- What is the black smoke?
- Who will end up with Kate at the end?
- Is Julia really against the "others"?
- Why has Richard never aged and what is his role? Why is Ben the leader when it appears that Richard should be?
- How does Desmond fit into all this?

Softening the Blow
Saturday Matt bought me these.

I have always wanted white rocking chairs on my front porch. I used to bug Jamie every time we went to Cracker Barrel asking how much of a discount could her husband get me on their rocking chairs since he is a manager there. But now Matt bought me two of my own!
How nice? Right? I think maybe he was softening the blow with news he had to share with me tonight. No, we are not moving again, at least not yet. No, not another business trip. He has lost my ipod. One of my favorite things in thew whole world, and he has lost it. He thinks he may have left it in the pocket of one of his flights, but he isn't totally sure. The airline and hotels have no record of finding it. We have scoured the vehicles and house, but as of now, no ipod.
So for now I can use Emily's. But now at least I don't have to come up with a good excuse of why I need to buy the video ipod with a much larger holding space than my 4G.

Wedding Ring Saga
So Matt has lost his wedding ring... again. Last week when in Tucson for work he had to do a field demo and he can't wear his ring while on the equipment. But he **thinks** he put it back on. So he doesn't **think** it is in Arizona.
He noticed it was missing Monday at work. He thought maybe it fell off when he was working out since it has gotten lose with him losing 15 pounds. But no one has found it there. We have searched the house, the car and just about anywhere else we can think of, but yet no ring has appeared.
Oh no some may say! To lose the ring your wife placed on your finger so many years ago. Ummm yeah. Matt has a history with rings. He lost it on our honeymoon. The idiot was digging in the cushions during a show on the cruise ship for quarters (don't ask, it's Matt) and it slipped off. Luckily someone turned it in. Then back in 2001 he lost the same ring when we were snorkeling down in the Bahamas. Obviously we didn't get that one back. He has damaged one by jackhammering concrete while still wearing it. And now here we are, another ring lost. And it doesn't seem that it will be back.
So until Matt goes and buys another ring I told him I was going on strike and not wearing mine. He just laughed and told me that a ring doesn't make a marriage. Damn. I hate it when he is right.

My Latest Obsession
To everyone's surprise it isn't Ohio State. I am obsessed with the TV show Lost. When the show first started three years ago I missed the first few episodes. I realized it was one of those shows that you have to watch from the beginning and cannot miss an episode. So I just didn't watch. Then this summer Jamie hopped on the Lost bandwagon. So at her suggestion we started getting the first two season's from Netflix. And can I just say, OMG.I have to say I was surprised that I like the show. But I love the mystery to it. I love the "what's next?", the twists and turns. We are about a 1/4 way into the second season and the unknowns are killing me. Who are
"the Others". What are the stories of the people who were in the back of the plane? Just how many of them are there? Is Charlie snorting out of the Virgin Mary? What is the real story of the bunker? Where is Walt and will he ever be found? And of course my burning question is who will Kate choose –– Jack or Sawyer. It is so apparent that she wants them both. Hell, I want them both. Jack is that "save the world" type
guy, while Sawyer is the sexy "bad boy" that everyone loves to hate. So which will it be?Our plan is to the finish Season 2 discs, watch the first 6 episodes of this season online and be all caught up by Feb. 7 when the season starts up again. I just hope I can stay away from the spoiler sites until then.
