FOOTBALL!!!
Can you hear the excitement in my voice? For those that know me, I love college football fan. Of course I bleed scarlet and gray (GO BUCKEYES!) but I love to watch any game on television.
Tonight is the first set of games of the season. As I type I am watching the LSU vs Mississippi State game. And Saturday is the big Buckeye opener. Sadly I will not be watching all the Buckeye games this year due to the Big Ten Network taking over game coverage (Don't even get me started on my opinion). Now I just need to find some friends with Direct TV so I can watch the Big Ten Network at their house. (Note to self, ask all neighbors who their satellite company is)
I apologize in advance for all the football/Ohio State posts. But I can't help it. It is in my blood. After all, I was conceived at an Ohio State Football game.
So here is my kickoff to another great football season. And again... GO BUCKS!

Well, you enjoy your college ball (I might actually get to my FIRST ever college football game this season, as one of my closest friends is now on staff in UVA football office!!!) AND I will enjoy my NFL football!!! Season opener on Thursday night! OMG I can HARDLY stand it!!!
(my college didn't have football, yes I attended 2 colleges and neither ONE had football as a sport... it really sucks, when you've grown up on football)
As you know, Illini fan here, too, although we root for the Sooners now, also. If we didn't, somebody (or someBODIES) would resent us!! :):) No, actually, I'd rather root for them. They are kick butt awesome this year unlike the orange and blue, which i'm losing hope out on. So I'm also rooting big time for the Salukis this year. It seems just about anyone is better than U of I these a days. Have fun with your football as I know you will.
P.S. did you get the package? did you get any of my emails? just need to know it arrived safely! I insured it, so if it doesn't, let me know asap.
OMG! I am so super excited that football season is here too!! It's great! I watched football all day Saturday (which my visiting Mom complained about!) and then went to OU's season opener that evening!! And, yes, Val, it is good to be a Sooner fan!! :) It's easy to root for a team that actually wins, but I am still a huge Illini fan too!
On another note...Ella can proudly say OU, but she did say "Buckeyes" the other day, as we were watching College Game Day, and they were mentioned several times!! Does this girl know football or what?! :)
